Feather hair extensions
But it's when it comes to going out on the razz that my routine feels a little too lacklustre. With longer hair i could curl, volumise to 80's proportions or go for a classy up-do to make my hair feel special for an evening event, but shorter hair feels a little restrictive, curls don't tumble, too much volume makes me look like i've had a fright and there's only a small bit of hair at the nape of my neck that's long enough to tie up and i'm not going down that route for fear of looking like Tom Brady.
So imagine my delight when i stumbled across Feather hair extensions. Small gatherings of natural feathers, available in a number of patterns and colours, are clipped into your hair using a small metal clasp so there's no damage to hair, and they can be washed, straightened, curled to your hearts content. They can even last for 4 months if you look after them. Finally a way of jazzing my hair up a bit.
My favourites are the grizzly striped feathers mixed with brown tones, a way of adding texture and pattern to your hair without worrying what work might think about it.
